About the artist: David Shrigley is a British visual artist based in Brighton. His distinct witty artistic style has been featured in an array of solo and group exhibitions worldwide, and earnt him a Turner prize nomination in 2013. Most recently Shrigley's sculpture Really Good (2016) was featured on the fourth plinth in Trafalgar Square, London, and he was awarded an OBE as part of the 2020 New Year's Honours.
