The edition features a set of symbols used throughout The Witches' Institution (W.I.), based on Hesse's work to reclaim the interpretation of constellations and forecasting symbolism used throughout historic practices of witchcraft in England. The black ink was made by Hesse from heather charcoal, collected from the North York Moors.
