Greetings Cards by James Tortice (aged 8) (Jaguar postcard)
A5 Greeting Card by James Tortice (aged 8)
Produced as part of the Superheroes of Leeds project
These beautiful designs have been created by James Tortice, an 8-year-old boy from Leeds. He will be donating all the proceeds from the sale of his cards to a charity appeal for his friend with neuroblastoma who needs lifesaving treatment in New York.
James was nominated as a Superhero of Leeds by his mum, Karen, as a way to acknowledge his extraordinary effort to help others, even while facing his own challenges. Despite James’ recent diagnosis of Autism and ADHD and struggling with the changes to routine that lockdown brought, he spent much of the lockdown painting. He has already raised over £2,000 through the sale of his cards on his own online art gallery.
James will be featured in our Superheroes of Leeds exhibition when it opens in August, but in the meantime you can buy James's cards and help him raise money for his friend's treatment here in The Tetley shop. 100% of the sale will go towards James's fundraising effort.
